PT screws are designed for thermoplastic assembly. The thin PT thread technology allows for smaller boss designs, less radial stress, and, high pull-out resistance.
They have a round shank and more sharply angled threads than other thread-forming screws, so they require less driving torque and reduce the risk of cracking thin plastic.
